The Rowe and Gayle Giesen Trust was established in 1972 to encourage the development of children and youth through experiences in the visual arts. Pasadena area visual arts organizations are eligible to apply. A special focus is given to programs supporting the engagement and development of at-risk youth.

1. Organizations may apply for up to $5,000 annually.

2. The Trust funds Pasadena area art and art education institutions.

3. The Trust is committed to supporting innovation and organizational development. New projects or emerging organizations are eligible to apply.

4. Recipients are expected to provide a year-end report. Proposals and reports may be submitted at the same time, May 1. Organizations are required to demonstrate how project goals have been met through internal or external evaluation.
